 "Jesus is still calling people from all walks of life to "make disciples of all the nations" some to leave their nets behind, others to take their nets with them..."
To place it into today's perspective, Jesus is still calling people like you to serve Him in obedience amongst all peoples. In the 21st century, like in the first century, it will be people who go and work intentionally in obedience with God's Kingdom agenda amongst all peoples that impact nations.

We can name it the same, but we can talk about different things. This is what we mean with:
Discipleship
The gradual, lifelong process of growing deeper in relationship with Jesus and becoming more like Him.
A disciple
A fruitful, fully devoted, lifelong learner and follower of Jesus Christ who reproduces spiritually in others.

What are the ways of the alongsider?
Disciplemaking can be intimidating for many of us. Our intimidation comes from the pictures we hang in the galleries of our minds. We picture disciplemaking taking place in a classroom with a gifted teacher. Another image is a complex one of standards and qualifications. We think to ourselves, “I can never make disciples because I’m not a skilled teacher” or “This is too complicated. I could never be a disciplemaker.”
